Clinical supervision in social work is a collaborative process between a social work supervisor and master's level social worker. The supervisor, who has advanced training and experience, provides clinical supervisory services to help the supervisee develop their skills and knowledge. The goal is to ensure that the supervisee can provide competent, appropriate, and ethical services to clients.
